HOW TO INSTALL TANNUS ARMOUR

Professional Installation Recommended

Installing Tannus Armour inserts requires removing the wheel, breaking the tire bead, wrestling the heavy-duty foam insert into place without pinching the inner tube, and properly resetting the bead and axle torque. For anyone with limited mechanical experience or the wrong tools, it can be a frustrating and physically demanding process.

To ensure your setup is done correctly and safely, we strongly recommend having Tannus Armour installed by a professional at a local bike shop.

• Purchased your e-bike from us? Bring it in, and our team will gladly install your Tannus Armour inserts for you.

• DIY approach: If you prefer to tackle it yourself, make sure you have a sturdy set of heavy-duty tire levers (standard plastic levers often snap under Tannus inserts) and a dedicated tire seating tool or lubricant.

1. Inflate Tube Slightly
2. Install Tube Into Armour Insert
3. Spritz Inside Of Tire With Soapy Water For Easier Install
4. Tuck the Armour Insert Under the Rim
   
5. Tuck The Tire Into The Bead
6. Massage The Whole Tire To Ensure Everything Is In Place
7. Inflate To Desired PSI
8. Enjoy The Ride
